Three Students of Nursing Department UMP Joined Credit Transfer Program at MSU Malaysia

Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto (UMP) sent three (3) students of Department of Nursing to Management and Science University (MSU) Malaysia to do a Credit Transfer (CT) Program for one (1) semester (5 months). The program, which was funded by the Ministry of Research Technology and Higher Education, starts from September 2019 to Januari 2020. 

Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of UMP, Dr Jebul Suroso, gave an orientation to the students on Tuesday (15/10) before their departure to Kuala Lumpur on Thursday (17/10). He delivered some advices to the students in order that they succeed in doing their CT Program at MSU. 

“Please carry out this program full-heartedly and do your best at MSU. Show them that students of UMP are able to compete with other international students at MSU in terms of academic qualifications”, said Dr Jebul.

At MSU, the three students, accompanied by the coordinator of CT Program, Ns Susana Widyaningsih MNS, were warmly welcomed by the Head of Nursing Department of MSU, Mrs. Rahima.

This program is also the implementation of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between UMP and MSU. Previously, four (4) students of Faculty of Pharmacy UMP were also doing internship at MSU, and eight (8) students of MSU carried out the internship program at UMP in the middle of August. (nov-kui)
